The poolside lanai has its own bar and 42” flat-screen TV and games including ping pong and foosball. If you’d rather spend the day at teh beach, take the short walk from Summer House down to the beautiful white sand Gulf beach. Restuarants, shops, entertainment, and so much more are just a short walk away as well. Come enjoy your next vacation in style at Summer House! We were very pleased with our 2 week stay in Palm Cay. Matter of fact we rebooked for 2023 because 2022 was already booked.
The large clubhouse is perfect for family gatherings and special occasions. Our pools are heated from NOVEMBER through APRIL and heating is not available from May through October. Please note that outdoor spas are not hot tubs and will remain the same temperature as the pool. If you are renting from November-April please notify us 10 days prior to your arrival that you would like the pool heated.

"This was a very nice place to stay. Only 2 small blocks from the beach - a 3 minute walk. Had everything we needed. Wish we could have stayed longer. The house was divided years ago into two independent, fully equipped units with a common wall. Both units have lots of great features – see the list below and the photos. Owners Pat Garrett and Oliver Woshinsky are committed to providing responsible renters with excellent value and a vacation experience they will want to repeat again and again.. Description says coffee and bottle of wine provided. Ice maker didn’t work well and leaked down fridge and on the floor several times.
Summer House also has two Xbox 360 consoles located on the top floor den. This spacious 1 bed / 1 bath condo is located just steps away from the pristine, sandy white beaches of Anna Maria Island and Bradenton Beach. This beautiful end-unit condo is on the ground floor of the quaint 10-unit complex of Palm Cay. Perfect for a couple’s getaway, a family vacation, or an extended holiday. There were some missteps as the kitchen and bathroom rugs were in desperate need of cleaning.

A laundry and storage room opens from the patio, and an outdoor shower is available at the side of the house. Walk into the main floor updated in 2021 with Travertine marble floors, colorful collection of artwork, custom fixtures and cabinets, a gourmet kitchen that has all you’ll need to enjoy a home-cooked meal. Living room with comfortable couches is perfect for cozy chats and a movie night. A Dining table for 10 and seating at the bar top provides plenty of seating to entertain with friends and family. Slip out through the outdoor deck off the kitchen overlooking the pool, then take the spiral staircase directly down to the pool.
Beautifully decorated and very large for a one bedroom unit. The only negative was the cleanliness of the floors. We always travel with our floor steamer because this is an issue almost everywhere we stay, so after steam cleaning the floors we could walk without shoes and our feet were clean! I’d also change the written description because there was NO bottle of wine and craft beer as a complimentary gift and there is NO bedroom closet storage as it’s filled with beach supplies.

The only clothes storage closets was overcrowded with a variety of beach supplies in duplicate. The other down side was the poor kitchen lighting. With all that said, overall for two people, we were very comfortable with the accommodations. Welcome to your new favorite place to stay at the beach! Summer House is a stunning eight-bedroom, six-bathroom home that truly has it all. Take advantage of your own heated pool, a rooftop deck, and a great location near the beach.
Rates do not include Florida taxes (11 1/2%), administration fee ($20), and cleaning fees (whole house–$200; Captain’s Cabin–$100; Captain’s Deck–$100). Kids will enjoy the game room with ping pong table, Foosball and much more. This home is perfect for entertaining, watch the sunset and sunrise from the spacious rooftop deck, with views of the gulf on one side and bay on the other.
